When compared to the rest of Boston, Mattapan is the only other neighborhood in Boston that’s considered more affordable than Hyde Park. In terms of the “bang,” the amount of land and space that you can possess is much greater than its neighboring cities. Hyde Park is less densely populated than most areas of the city, and therefore residents are more likely to have a property with a sizable yard.
